Introduction of pre-implantation genetic diagnostics

Pre-implantation genetic diagnostics (PGD) is conducted to diagnose hereditary diseases. The embryo diagnostics is processed in the period of extracorporeal insemination till its input into the uterine space. After the analysis only healthy embryos are implanted. Thus, the woman becomes pregnant being sure that the future baby is not a carrier of any genetic disease. Also it is possible to identify the gender of the fertile in cases of genetic gender depended diseases.
